3-Chloro-4-fluoronitrobenzene Use and Manufacturing
Nitration with fluorobenzene with mixed acid to generate p-fluoronitrobenzene, and then chlorination with chlorine to prepare the product.
It is an important pharmaceutical and pesticide intermediate. If 3-chloro-4-fluoroaniline is obtained by reduction, haloperic acid can be obtained. If chlorinated and denitrified, 2,4-dichlorofluorobenzene can be obtained by further synthesis. Ciprofloxacin.
