Naphthazarin is a naphthoquinone that is 1,4-naphthoquinone in which the hydrogens at positions 5 and 8 are replaced by hydroxy groups. It has a role as a plant metabolite, an antibacterial agent, an acaricide, an antineoplastic agent and an apoptosis inducer.
