Indane Use and Manufacturing

Methods of Manufacturing

Using heavy benzene with an indene content of 35% as the raw material, the emulsification tower is rectified, and the 182°C fraction is cut from the top of the tower, which is the indene content of more than 90%.

Uses

Indane is used as an anti-vibration agent for aviation fuel and anti-vibration agent in the rubber industry. Its derivatives can be used in more than 20 kinds of medicines, and can also be used in the organic synthesis industry as a solvent. Dihydro indene can be made into benzene products by cracking.
