C.I. Acid Violet 43 Use and Manufacturing

Methods of Manufacturing

It uses 1, 4-dihydroxyanthraquinone and p-toluidine as raw materials. Firstly, 1, 4-dihydroxyanthraquinone is reduced to its leuco body, then it is condensed with p-toluidine, re-oxidized, and finally sulfonated with fuming sulfuric acid to neutralize the product. After salting out, filtering and drying, the finished product is obtained.

Uses

Used for dyeing and printing wool, silk, nylon and their fabrics, also suitable for leather dyeing
