Triallyl cyanurate Use and Manufacturing

Uses

Triallyl cyanurate has been shown to be an effective surface method agent for activating low light films and coatings. The use of Triallyl cyanurate in radiation-cured coatings increases the chemical stability of these coatings and improves their biological properties. Triallyl cyanurate can be used as a particle in a reaction solution, reacting with light or heat to form a polymer. Specific uses of triallyl cyanurate include as a crosslinking component in the preparation of alkyd resins, polyurethanes, and polyesters, as a copolymer in the vulcanization process, and as a bonding accelerator in tire cord rubber latex mixtures. In addition, Triallyl cyanurate can be used as a curing medium for various polymers; For example, used as a curing agent for highly saturated rubber, unsaturated polyester, triallyl cyanurate copolymers with methacrylate can produce glass-like substances with excellent optical and mechanical properties, which are necessary for the production of high-quality optical glass. For many of the possible uses mentioned above, a very pure triallyl cyanurate is required, which also has a very low degree of discoloration, expressed by the APHA color number, which should not exceed 10 as much as possible.
