Methods of Manufacturing

It is obtained by sulfonation of p-chloroaniline: slowly drip 100% sulfuric acid into p-chloroaniline and the solvent diphenyl sulfone, and it reacts violently to produce 4-chloroaniline-2-sulfonic acid and water. When the water was distilled off, the reaction mixture turned into bright purple crystals. Continue heating for 7 hours under reduced pressure, cool the melt, heat water to dissolve, filter out the diphenyl sulfone in the solution, and cool to obtain white needle-like crystals. The finished product is obtained by filtering, washing and drying. The yield was 94%.
