Guanidine, N,N-diethyl-, hydrochloride (1:1) Use and Manufacturing
The preparation method is to put the diethylamine solution in the reactor, add hydrochloric acid to adjust the pH of the solution to 9.2, and then add 50% cyanamide aqueous solution dropwise under stirring, the reaction temperature is 100 ℃, about 4 hours after the addition is complete, then reflux 1h, let it stand overnight at room temperature, then add 40% sodium hydroxide and pass in carbon dioxide to obtain 1, 1-diethylguanidine hydrochloride under cooling, and crystallize, filter and dry to obtain the finished product. S-methyl isothiourea can also be used to react with diethylamine to obtain 1, 1-diethyl sulphate (2:1) (CAS[77297-00-8]).
1,1-Diethylguanidine hydrochloride is an intermediate of the pesticide pyrimidinphos.
