Bis(octadecanoato)dioxodilead Use and Manufacturing

Methods of Manufacturing

It is derived from the reaction of sodium stearate and lead acetate.

Uses

his product is a polyvinyl chloride stabilizer. Lead stabilizer is the earliest stabilizer used in PVC, and it is still used in large quantities. The amount used in my country is about 60% of the total stabilizer dose (excluding lead soaps). The thermal stability, electrical insulation and water resistance of dibasic lead stearate are superior to lead stearate. Commonly used in extruded products, such as pipes, corrugated boards, wires, and injection products. Use stabilizer; lubricant; rubber product smoothing agent and transparent softening agent
