Methods of Manufacturing

Oxalic acid precipitation method After mixing the refined titanium tetrachloride solution and the refined barium chloride solution, add purified oxalic acid (proportion TiCl4:BaC12:H2C2O4·2H2O is 1:1:2) at 70~100℃ to produce The barium titanate oxalate is precipitated, filtered, washed, dried, calcined at 700-1000°C, and then sieved to obtain the finished barium titanate. Its BaCl2+TiCl4+2H2C2O4+5H2O→BaTIO(C2O4)2·4H2O↓+6HClBaTiO(C2O4)2·4H2O→BaTiO3+4H2O+2CO2↑+2CO↑solid phase method of mixing barium carbonate and titanium dioxide (1:1) grinding After that, it is extruded and calcined at 1200°C. The calcined product is then crushed, wet-milled, pressure-filtered, dried, and ground to obtain a powdered barium titanate product. BaCO3+TiO2→BaTiO3+CO2↑

Uses

In electronic devices, e.g., as voltage-sensitive dielectric in so-called dielectric amplifiers, in computer elements, magnetic amplifiers, memory devices.
