N-(9-Fluorenylmethoxycarbonyl)-O-tert-butylserine Use and Manufacturing
Suspend O-tert-butyl-L-serine in dioxane solution and acylate with fluorenylmethyloxycarbonyl azide to obtain a crude product, which is extracted with ethyl acetate at a pH of 9-10. Refined by recrystallization.
Used for peptide synthesis and as amino acid protection monomer.
