Basic Red 46 Use and Manufacturing

Methods of Manufacturing

Using 5-amino-3-carboxy-1, 2, 4-triazole and N-methyl-N-benzylaniline as the main raw materials, first diazotize the former with sodium nitrite and sulfuric acid at low temperature. Then it is coupled with N-methyl-N-benzylaniline, and after decarboxylation, it is methylated with dimethyl sulfate, salted, filtered and dried to obtain the finished product. . The recently developed new process uses 3-amino-1, 2, 4-triazole and N-methyl-N-benzylaniline as raw materials. Firstly, the two are nitrosated and condensed in a sulfuric acid medium. The methyl ester is methylated, filtered and dried to obtain the finished product after salt formation. . Add 60%-70% sulfuric acid, 3-amino-1, 2, 4-triazole and N-methyl-N-benzylaniline into the condensation kettle, cool to 15-20℃, and add dropwise within 2h After adding the sodium nitrite solution, continue stirring at 15-20°C for 4 hours, then dilute with water and filter to obtain the dye precursor. Add water and dye matrix filter cake to the methylation kettle, stir evenly, adjust the pH to 6-7 with dilute lye, add magnesium oxide, slowly add dimethyl sulfate dropwise within 4h at 5-20℃, and finish adding Incubate for 2h, dilute with water, heat to 90°C, add activated carbon, and filter at 50°C. The filtrate is added with zinc chloride and salt to salt out, filtered and dried to obtain a finished product.
