Tetrabromobisphenol A diallyl ether Use and Manufacturing
As an intermediate, it can be further brominated to prepare octabromoether. It can be used as a cross-linking and additive flame retardant for expandable polystyrene resins. It is a reactive flame retardant and is mainly used for expanded polystyrene, Unsaturated polyester, foamed polyester and other materials are flame retardant and can also be used in conjunction with HBCD, which has a synergistic effect.
