Diclofenac potassium Use and Manufacturing

Cyclo-oxygenase inhibitor; analgesic; anti-inflammatory.It is suitable for short-term treatment of acute joint muscle injury, toothache, postoperative pain, early pregnancy drug abortion analgesia, pain placed in the IUD. This product is used as an anti-inflammatory analgesic. This product is a powerful anti-inflammatory, analgesic and antipyretic drug. Its effect is 2.5 times stronger than anti-inflammatory pain, 50 times stronger than aspirin, and 2 times stronger than diclofenac sodium

Drug Function and Efficacy

It inhibits the activity of cyclooxygenase, thereby blocking the conversion of arachidonic acid to prostaglandins. At the same time, it can also promote the combination of arachidonic acid and triglycerides, reduce the concentration of free arachidonic acid in cells, and indirectly inhibit the synthesis of leukotrienes. Its inhibitory effect on prostaglandin synthesis is stronger than that of aspirin and indomethacin.
