Drug Function and Efficacy

It can inhibit the excessive secretion of intestinal fluid, promote the absorption of intestinal fluid, reduce the amount of water in the intestine, thereby reducing the water content of the stool, that is, preventing diarrhea. It can inhibit intestinal peristalsis, thus preventing diarrhea caused by hypermotility of the intestine. It can effectively inhibit the Vero toxin produced by O157 Escherichia coli and the damage to intestinal mucosal epithelial cells caused by it.
