The national raw coal output was 337 million 260,000 tons
According to the latest data released by the National Bureau of statistics on April 17, in March 2020, China's raw coal output reached 337.26 million tons, an increase of 9.6% year-on-year. The growth rate changed from negative to positive, down 6.3% from January to February. In March, the average daily output was 10.88 million tons, an increase of 2.73 million tons over January February. From January to March 2020, China's cumulative raw coal output is 829.91 million tons, down 0.5% year on year. In March, with the improvement of the national epidemic situation, the resumption of production of coal mines in the main production area accelerated. Data shows that in the first quarter, 286 coal mines in Inner Mongolia have been restored to normal production and construction, with a return rate of 85.6%. As of March 26, 475 mines in Shaanxi Province have resumed production of 166, with a production capacity of 479 million tons / year, 27 resumed construction, and a design capacity of 93 million tons / year.
By the end of March, there were 155 coal mines in Henan Province, 130 coal mines and 21 coal mines with conditions for resumption of production. The rate of resumption of production reached 97%. As of March 24, the recovery rate of coal production capacity in Shanxi Province has reached 95.42%, and the number of coal mines produced, the utilization rate of coal production capacity and the daily output have all recovered to the normal level. Since 2019, China's coal industry has changed from "total capacity reduction" to a new stage of "structural capacity reduction and systematic capacity optimization". In the later stage, when the production coal mine in the production area gradually tends to be normal, and the construction coal mine will also be on the right track, the pace of approval of new construction, reconstruction and expansion projects will be accelerated. At that time, the release of advanced production capacity will be further accelerated, the coal industry will enter the capacity expansion cycle, and it is expected that the national raw coal production will continue to increase.
