VICTORIA’S SECRET CEO AMY HAUK SET TO LEAVE POST AFTER JUST 8 MONTHS
THE WHAT? Victoria’s Secret brand CEO Amy Hauk is exiting her post after just 8 months at the helm, according to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
THE DETAILS The resignation comes into effect on 31 March, with Hauk also giving up her duties at Victoria’s Secret sister brand PINK.
Hauk is set to be replaced in the role in by Martin Walters, who will also continue his role as CEO of Victoria’s Secret & Co.
THE WHY? According to a company statement, “Amy Hauk will be stepping down as CEO of Victoria’s Secret and PINK in order to spend more time with her family in Florida.”
The news of Hauk’s imminent departure saw shares of parent company Victoria’s Secret & Co fall 8 percent.
