Among them, the new crown vaccine Comirnaty generated $37.8 billion and the new oral drug Paxlovid generated $18.9 billion, totaling $56.7 billion, more than half of its total annual revenue. However, Pfizer expects revenue from coronavirus-related products to decline in 2023, with Comirnaty expected to have revenue of $13.5 billion and Paxlovid at about $8 billion. However, sales may pick up from 2024.
It is worth mentioning that Pfizer showed Paxlovid sales in China in the PPT. Since December 2022, the number of Pfizer supplies of Paxlovid to China has increased significantly, reaching millions of boxes, compared to tens of thousands in the previous 11 months.
