The global aromatic chemicals market will reach $84.1 billion in 2027
According to New York market research and business consulting firm Reports and Data, the global aromatic chemicals market is expected to reach 84.1 billion U.S. dollars in 2027, with a compound annual growth rate of 6.2%.
The so-called aromatic chemical refers to a single compound artificially synthesized or isolated.
As consumers' interest in luxury products increases, coupled with the increase in personal care products they use, the aromatic chemicals market is bound to grow substantially. The strong market demand for perfumes, deodorants and air fresheners will increase the market value of aromatic chemicals. Other products that are in greater demand in the market include soaps and chemicals for flavoring food.
Even the market growth of personal care products and topical products including aromatherapy products has exceeded expectations.
In terms of compound types, ester aromatic compounds have floral, sweet and fruity aromas, and the market demand for this type of perfume is the largest. Followed by Terpenes, alcohols, Aldehydes, ketones, and lactones. Flavor products derived from ester aromatic chemicals accounted for 25.3% of the market share in 2019, and the compound annual growth rate is expected to be 5.5% by 2027.
In terms of fragrance type, overall, floral fragrance chemicals have the highest market share in 2019, accounting for 16.3%, an increase of 6.1%. Followed by woody, citrus, fruity, musky, MENTHOL, and spicy.
By field, the largest application of aromatic chemicals is cosmetics and toiletries, followed by household products, food and beverages, and medicine.
