3 new herbicide ingredients got ISO generic names, CYNDA's Pyraquinate listed.

Recently, ISO has provisionally approved common names for three new pesticide active ingredients, all of which are herbicides. Two of the ingredients are from Corteva and Bayer, while the other is from domestic agrochemical company Shandong Synda. The details are as follows:

Indolauxipyr 

Indolauxipyr is a pyridinic acid herbicide developed by Corteva under the codes X-263 and X12312263. It will be marketed as indolauxipyr-cyanomethyl under the codes XDE-521 and XR-521.

Icafolin 

Icafolin is a new isooxazole herbicide from Bayer. It will be marketed as icafolin-methyl under the symbol BCS-CZ37679.

Pyraquinate 

Pyraquinate, a benzoylpyrazole herbicide, was developed by Liaoning CYNDA., the code is CDH18119, the molecular formula is C27H28ClN5O5, the mechanism of action is HPPD inhibitor.

 Pyraquinate has sucked in super conduction effect, also has excellent control effect, for older weeds herbicide. It can control resistance Leptochloa chinensis, barnyard grass, leptochloa panicea, eragrostis japonica and lecrsia oryzoides.

Pyraquinate has different mechanism of action from Cyhalofop-butyl and Metamifop. Under the condition of severe resistance to Cyhalofop-butyl and Metamifop, Pyraquinate has excellent performance, so the market prospect of Pyraquinate is broad.

The successful development of Pyraquinate is mainly due to the breakthrough in the safe use of HPPD inhibitor herbicides in indica rice fields, the first safe use of this kind of herbicide in all rice varieties, and the breakthrough in the control of weeds in paddy fields by stem and leaf spray.
