China's tire exports in August achieved a same month-on-month double growth
Recently, the General Administration of Customs released tire export data for August this year. In August, China's tire export volume achieved a year-on-year double growth; the cumulative export volume in the first eight months has continued to narrow the year-on-year decline.
Tire exports increased significantly year-on-year
Data shows that in August, China’s rubber tire exports amounted to 630,000 tons, a month-on-month increase of 10,000 tons and a year-on-year increase of 14.1%. In the same month, the export value of rubber tires was 9.592 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 6.1%.
Among them, the export volume of new pneumatic rubber tires was 610,000 tons, a year-on-year increase of 14.1%; the export value was 9.559 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 5.4%.
In August, the number of new pneumatic rubber tires exported was 46.34 million, a month-on-month decrease of 950,000 and a year-on-year increase of 8.2%.
The cumulative decline continues to narrow
It is understood that since the second half of the year, as the epidemic has been contained, overseas market demand has continued to grow, and domestic tire manufacturers have gradually recovered their export orders.
Statistics show that from January to August, China’s cumulative export volume of rubber tires was 3.84 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 11.7% and an increase of 3.7% from July. The cumulative export value was 60.251 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 15.8% and a return of 3.1 percentage points.
Among them, the cumulative export of new pneumatic rubber tires was 3.69 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 11.9% and a rebound of 3.8 percentage points; the cumulative export value was 57.409 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 16.3% and a rebound of 3.2 percentage points.
From the perspective of the number of tire exports, from January to August, the cumulative export of new pneumatic rubber tires was 289.87 million, a year-on-year decrease of 14.3%.
According to analysis, currently, tire manufacturers have good export orders, and some manufacturers’ export sales have exceeded the same period last year. In the short term, tire exports are expected to maintain a good momentum.
