The global aromatherapy market will exceed $8.5 billion in 2027
The global aromatherapy market will reach 8.799 billion US dollars by 2027, and the compound annual growth rate between 2020 and 2027 is expected to be 8.2%.
Aromatherapy is a whole-body healing method that uses natural plants to promote health, referred to as aromatherapy.
Products used in aromatherapy include bath salts, aroma sprays, creams, milks, mud masks, body oils, diffusers, face steamers, hot/cold compresses, and inhalers.
In 2019, the global aromatherapy market was valued at US$4.686 billion. The growth prospects for 2020-2027 are driven by two factors. One is that new products will continue to be launched, and the other is that asthma and cancer cases will increase.
In 2019, consumables accounted for 85.7% of the global aromatherapy market, followed by equipment.
Major players in the global aromatherapy market are focusing on R&D to expand their product portfolio, and it is predicted that the R&D of essential oils will bring lucrative growth opportunities.
Competition in the aromatherapy industry is fierce, with major brands including Young Living Essential Oils, Mountain Rose Herbs, MONQ, and doTERRA. In June of this year, Dotri has joined the International Institute of Perfume and Fragrance (RIFM) as a supporting member.
