BASF increases price for Neopentylglycol
With immediate effect or as existing contracts permit BASF is increasing the price for Neopentylglycol.
Neopentylglycol (NPG) is a high-quality intermediate used, for example, to produce polyester resins for coatings, unsaturated polyester resins, lubricants and plasticisers.
The price increase for Neopentylglycol is as follows:
Europe + EUR 150/ton (MT)
Asia (w/o China) + USD 180/ton (MT)
South America + USD 180/ton (MT)
North America + USD 0.08/pound (LB)
