The EU approved L-arginine produced by Corynebacterium glutamicum CGMCC 20516 as a feed additive for all animals

According to the Official Journal of the European Union, on 21 March 2023, the European Commission published Regulation EU) 2023/649, which, in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 1831/2003 of the European Parliament and of the Council, Approved L-arginine produced by Corynebacterium glutamicum CGMCC 20516 as a feed additive for all animals.

In accordance with the conditions set out in the annex, this additive is authorized as an animal additive in the category of "nutritional additives" and in the functional group of "amino acids, amino acid salts and their analogues". The authorization ends on April 11, 2033. These regulations shall take effect twenty (20) days from the date of promulgation.
