An investment of nearly 1 billion! Baling Petrochemical 170,000 tons/year resin project will start soon

Recently, Hunan Provincial Department of Ecological Environment released the environmental impact report of the construction project of high-performance epoxy resin plant with an annual output of 170,000 tons of Sinopec Baling Petrochemical Co., LTD. (accepted and publicized).

It is reported that the project, with a total investment of 987.95 million yuan, is located in Baling District, Yueyang Green Chemical High-tech Industrial Development Zone, Hunan Province. The main construction is the construction of 170,000 tons/year high-performance epoxy resin plant and supporting facilities within the resin Department of Baling Petrochemical Co., LTD. The scale and process of the existing production plant of the resin Department remain the same. The project has a fixed labor force of 98 people (depending on the existing staff, not new), 333 days of annual production, 8000h of annual operation, and a construction period of about 24 months.

The investment of this project is the testimony of Baling Petrochemical to further refine and strengthen epoxy resin products, build the international first-class epoxy organic chlorine industry chain, and realize the large-scale and specialized production of epoxy resin. After completion of the project, the production scale of epoxy resin unit of Baling Petrochemical Resin Division will reach 315,000 tons/year.
