Market Analysis - Monthly Report - December, 2020 - Vinyl acetate
I. Overall market analysis
In the first half of this month, the prices of raw material acetic acid, ethylene and calcium carbide have all been raised. The cost of vinyl acetate has increased significantly. At the same time, the factory volume is still not large, and the downstream rigid demand is still in order to find goods. Under the contradiction between supply and demand, market transaction prices continue to rise. The market transaction price reached a new high in the middle of the month. However, since the second half of this month, as the prices of raw material acetic acid and calcium carbide have declined, downstream purchasing enthusiasm has declined, and bearish sentiment has become obvious. At the same time, the rain and snow at the end of the month affect traffic, downstreambuying is not high, and supplier sales pressure has gradually appeared, leading to the focus of market transactions continue to decline.

Ⅱ.Conclusions
At present, the contradiction between supply and demand in the market is still relatively obvious. Under the pressure of downstream costs, it is mainly cautious andwait-and-see. It is expected that the vinyl acetate market may operate weakly next month.
