The EU extended the approval period for 40 active substances including ethephon
According to the Official Journal of the European Union, on May 5, 2023, the European Commission issued Regulation (EU) 2023/918, extending the approval period of 40 active substances such as ethemeline, and this Regulation will come into force on the third day after the date of publication.
According to the regulation, approval of S-metolachlor, Ethephon, Captan and Benthiavalicarb was extended until November 15, 2024.
Approvals for Phenmedipham, Milbemectin, Folpet, Formetanate, Dimethomorph and Metribuzin were extended until February 15, 2025.
Approvals for Propamocarb, Pirimiphos-methyl, and Fluoxastrobin were extended until June 15, 2025.
The approval period for Prothioconazole was extended to August 15, 2025.
Trichoderma asperellum strain T34, Cyflumetofen, Trichoderma atroviride strain I-1237 I-1237), Helicoverpa armigera nucleopolyhedrovirus and Spodoptera littoralis nucleopolyhedrovirus nucleopolyhedrovirus (nucleopolyhedrovirus) approval was extended until October 31, 2025.
metam's approval period was extended to November 30, 2025.
The approval period for Ametoctradin and Mandipropamid was extended until 31 December 2025.
Indolylbutyric acid and Flurochloridone approvals were extended to March 15, 2026.
The approval period for Boscalid was extended to 15 April 2026.
Approvals for Penoxsulam and Proquinazid were extended to 15 May 2026.
Fluopicolide, Cycloxydim, Hymexazol, Clethodim, Dazomet, metaldehyde, Fenazaquin, Diclo fop) and Paclobutrazol approvals were extended until August 31, 2026.
The approval period for metalaxyl was extended to September 30, 2026.
The approval period for Beflubutamid, Aclonifen and metazachlor was extended to 31 October 2026.
