With an investment of $1.5 billion, it boasts one of the largest steam cracking units globally, primarily producing ethylene, propylene, and butadiene for the production of antifreeze, polyester, and plastic.
The facility underwent significant modifications in 2013 to process lighter feedstocks, and by 2014, its ethylene production capacity had been increased to over one million tons per year.
