On August 20, 2026, BASF and NEO Corporate Public Company Limited, a Thai consumer goods company, announced a strategic partnership in Bangkok. The two parties will jointly develop next‑generation personal care solutions, covering innovative formulations, raw material application technologies, and trend‑oriented product concepts.
Under the agreement, BASF will contribute its technical expertise in personal care ingredient R&D, formulation design, and efficacy evaluation. NEO Corporate, drawing on its market experience and consumer insights from its multiple brands, will translate technical solutions into concrete product prototypes. The specific investment amount and duration of the collaboration were not disclosed.
NEO Corporate is a well‑established Thai fast‑moving consumer goods company with over 37 years of history. Its business covers four major segments: home care, personal care, baby care, and pet care. The company owns nine brands: Fineline, D‑nee, BeNice, TROS, Eversense, Vivite, Smart, Tomi, and LovliTails. The current partnership focuses on personal care, involving NEO Corporate’s personal wash and beauty brand lines such as Eversense and Vivite.
BASF was represented by its senior executive responsible for personal care business in Asia Pacific, while NEO Corporate was represented by its Deputy CEO for Business Innovation. At the signing event, both sides stated that the goal is to shorten the development cycle from raw material technology to final consumer products and to strengthen the competitiveness of offerings in the Southeast Asian market. The specific product categories to be jointly developed and the timeline for market launch have not yet been announced.
BASF currently operates production and R&D facilities in Thailand. This partnership is part of its broader “collaborative innovation” strategy in the Asia‑Pacific region, and follows similar technical cooperation agreements BASF has previously established with other local brands in Southeast Asia.
