Cosmax Sets up Dedicated Sunscreen Laboratory in Hopes of Entering the U.S. Market
Recently, Cosmax announced the establishment of a dedicated OTC laboratory for sunscreen products at its Korean R&L center. The facility will serve as a dedicated laboratory to support sunscreen products from research to production.
Cosmax is the first company in the Korean cosmetics ODM field to obtain US FDA OTC certification and operates a professional management system, including real-time adaptation to the US FDA's supervision of OTC products.
The South Korean beauty products maker aims to boost its expertise in sun protection in response to growing demand from customers looking to tap into the U.S. sun care market.
Chun-ho Park, Vice President of COSMAX R&L Center, revealed: "In response to the growing demand from the Korean market and global customers to enter the U.S. sunscreen market, we established OTC Lab. Based on the expertise we have accumulated in OTC sunscreen product manufacturing since 2016 , COSMAX will continue to innovate products that comply with U.S. market trends and regulations."
