Bohai Petrochemical's PDH production facility resumes production!
On the evening of April 7, 2021, Bohai Chemical issued an announcement stating that on March 18, 2021, the company disclosed the "Announcement of Tianjin Bohai Chemical Co., Ltd. Regarding the Routine Suspension of Production and Maintenance of PDH Units of its Wholly-owned Subsidiary". The company's Tianjin Bohai Petrochemical Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Bohai Petrochemical")'s PDH device (600,000 tons/year) will be shut down for maintenance on March 18, 2021, and the maintenance is expected to be about 20 days.
In accordance with the requirements of safe and reliable operation of chemical enterprises, and in order to ensure the safe and effective operation of production equipment, according to the company's production and operation plan, Bohai Petrochemical will overhaul the PDH equipment. This shutdown inspection is a normal shutdown inspection during the operation cycle of the device. The main purpose is to inspect, repair, maintain and modify equipment, containers, pipelines, etc., to ensure the safety of the installation and stable production in the next production cycle.
The company has fully considered the impact of the shortened effective production period caused by the shutdown and maintenance of the device in the annual production and operation plan, and the maintenance will not cause major adverse effects. As of the disclosure date of this announcement, the overhaul of the PDH device has been completed, and the device is currently operating stably.
According to the data, the main products of Bohai Chemical include propylene products, data card products, printing products, smart card application systems and supporting equipment products. The financial report shows that in 2020, operating income was 2.735 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 28.50%; net profit attributable to shareholders of listed companies was 186 million yuan, an increase of 26.52% year-on-year; net profit attributable to shareholders of listed companies deducting non-recurring gains and losses was 254 million Yuan, a loss of 88.932 million yuan in the same period last year (after adjustment); basic earnings per share were 0.19 yuan.
