Coveris Completes Acquisition of Hadepol Flexo
Leading international packaging manufacturer Coveris is pleased to announce the successful completion of the acquisition of Hadepol Flexo, a renowned flexible packaging company headquartered in Lepin, Poland. The acquisition follows the completion of the necessary regulatory approvals at the end of May.
Coveris is a leading producer of flexible paper and plastic packaging for markets such as food, medical, transport packaging and consumer goods. The Group has an international network of 30 sites across 8 EMEA countries and currently employs more than 4,000 people. The acquisition of Hadepol Flexo is the company's third transaction in Central and Eastern Europe in a short period of time and supports the company's ongoing growth strategy by investing in targeted regions and packaging markets.
"We are very pleased to welcome Hadepol Flexo as the newest member of the Coveris network," said Christian Kolarik, CEO of Coveris. "The market demand for flexible packaging is growing and Hadepol Flexo's expertise in flexible paper and film packaging will enhance our ability to meet customer needs with cutting-edge products and services."
The product offering of the newly acquired plant will significantly enhance the company's product portfolio for bakery and confectionery customers.
