Nouryon Opens New Customer Experience and Innovation Center in Brazil

The specialty chemicals manufacturer has recently launched the construction of a new Home and Personal Care Customer Experience and Innovation Center in Itupeva, Brazil.

The new facility will feature state-of-the-art laboratories and experience stations designed to foster close collaboration between customers and Nouryon experts in formulation development and testing. The company also expects the center to accelerate the development of environmentally friendly solutions, including fully bio-based chelants for cleaning applications and biopolymer-based personal care products, supporting both Nouryon’s and its customers’ sustainability goals.

“The new facility in Itupeva represents a key investment in advancing our growth strategy in the region. By combining our global expertise with local customer insights, we are creating an environment where innovation can thrive, enabling faster and more collaborative development of more sustainable home and personal care solutions,” said Nouryon President Larry Ryan. “This milestone reinforces our commitment to customers in Brazil and across South America.”

The facility is expected to be fully operational by the end of 2026, subject to approval from local authorities.

The Itupeva Innovation Center expands Nouryon’s global network of innovation centers to a total of 15.
