Kurita America and Solugen Collaborate to Develop New Carbon Negative Products for Industrial Water Treatment

Kurita America, a subsidiary of Kurita Group, a leading global provider of industrial water treatment solutions, announced on the 22nd that it has partnered with Solugen, a manufacturer of bio-based chemicals, to develop a new set of carbon-negative water treatment products. These innovative solutions will introduce high-performance bio-based alternatives to phosphorus and other petroleum-derived additives currently on the market.

 

Mike Mowbray, senior vice president of Kurita America's marketing and technology group, said: "We are very excited to expand our collaboration with Solugen to jointly develop innovative technologies to address the many challenges facing traditional water treatment solutions. This collaboration will greatly enhance our existing Creating Shared Value (CSV) business and help customers achieve their sustainability goals."
