Adani Wilmar Completes Acquisition of 67% Stake in Omkar Chemical
Adani Wilmar Limited has completed the acquisition of 67% stake in Gujarat-based Omkar Chemical Industries Private Limited (OCIPL) by acquiring and subscribing for ordinary shares in the company.
Omkar Chemicals operates a manufacturing plant at Panoli, Gujarat with a capacity of approximately 20,000 tonnes per annum of surfactants and is further adding capacity for other products. The entrepreneur promoting Omkar Chemicals has over 15 years of experience in the specialty chemicals manufacturing industry.
