Vice & Virtue Launches ‘Endocrine-Sensitive’ Skincare
Reportedly, Vice & Virtue’s first-ever ‘Endocrine-Sensitive’ skincare products work in synergy for radiant skin, reflecting the brand’s promise of ‘bioharmony’, an approach that sees each product work in synergy with the skin’s natural microbiome. Designed to be gentle, the products address a variety of skin concerns without compromising skin health.
Vice & Virtue products are designed with a focus on what it claims are endocrine-disrupting chemicals commonly found in consumer products. These irritants are also sometimes found in beauty products and are a top concern for consumers.
The brand also avoids harsh active ingredients that can disrupt the skin’s natural barrier.
The brand claims to use environmentally friendly, skin-safe materials and packaging, including glass and 100% gluten-free wheat straw plastic, a renewable, BPA-free alternative to petroleum-based plastics.
Founded by Aaron Kozol and Gina Rum Kozol, Vice & Virtue’s products meet consumers’ skin care obsessions (vice) with safe, clean ingredients (virtue).
With Aaron Kozol’s expertise in pharmacology and dermatology and Gina Kozol’s personal experience with hormone health issues, the pair brings a wealth of background knowledge to the table.
Their unifying belief is that skin care should be taken exactly as directed, without worrying about hidden dangers, which is why the brand avoids chemicals that interfere with hormone health and development.
“At Vice & Virtue, we’re raising the bar for skincare by combining cutting-edge ingredient and packaging innovations with a genuine dedication to limiting endocrine disruption,” said co-founder Gina Rum Kozol. “Our mission is to create an unforgettable brand with products that are safe to use regardless of age, and fun packaging that you’ll be excited to show off at the beauty counter.”
