Growco's Rootella Launches in Canada with Nine Benefits
Recently, Growco, an Israeli leader in mycorrhizal inoculants, announced that its product Rootella L has successfully received registration in Canada. Rootella L is a high-concentration liquid formulation designed to enhance crop yields and improve soil health. This registration marks a significant advancement in the company's strategic expansion plan in the Canadian market.
The approval of Rootella L provides Canadian farmers with new options, allowing them to leverage innovative biological solutions to increase yields of major crops such as corn, wheat, pulses, and grains. Dana Schofield, Strategic Account Manager at Groundwork BioAg Canada, stated, "We are thrilled to offer Rootella L to Canadian farmers. This registration expands the application of our proven biologicals to align with our customers' current farming practices."
Rootella L offers numerous benefits to farmers, including:
- Improved soil health and crop yields
- Enhanced nutrient absorption and water efficiency
- Increased resilience to environmental stress
- Promotion of carbon sequestration
This registration approval is a result of Growco's operations in Canada since 2019, which began with product registration. This latest development is expected to significantly expand the application of mycorrhizal inoculants across Canada's vast farmland, supporting the country's shift toward more sustainable and efficient agricultural practices.
Schofield added, "Given the volatility of global markets, unpredictable weather, and slim farm profits, Canadian farmers are facing unprecedented challenges. By improving the efficiency of other agricultural inputs, growers can trust in the return on investment that Rootella L offers."
Currently, sales of the Rootella mycorrhizal inoculant are covering 23 markets, including the U.S., Brazil, and China, applied annually to 3.7 million acres of land. Its wide application range underscores its recognition in enhancing agricultural productivity and sustainability.
