Mipa Group Merges Two Swiss Subsidiaries
The Mipa Group is strengthening its presence in Switzerland. As of June 30, 2025, Mipa Lacke + Farben AG in Kriessern and Mipa Coatings Schweiz AG in Islikon will merge, with retroactive effect from January 1, 2025. The merger aims to strengthen the Mipa Group's market position in Switzerland by standardizing the name Mipa Coatings Schweiz and to leverage synergies.
The merger combines the strengths of both locations. Kriessern focuses primarily on automotive coatings and non-paint sales, while Islikon focuses on the industrial and security & defense business areas. Both locations and the respective teams will remain unchanged, ensuring a seamless continuation of the previous cooperation.
"We expect that the merger will not only give us greater market penetration and visibility, but also allow us to better coordinate our processes. Our goal is to offer our customers in Switzerland an even better service," says Steffen Schmid, Sales Manager and Member of the Executive Board.
