MIPA acquires HAERING industrial coatings division
Mipa strengthens its presence in the European paints and coatings market with the acquisition of Haering Industrial Division.
Mipa, an international developer and producer of coating systems, recently announced that it acquired the industrial coatings division of Haering GmbH in Unterheinriet, Germany, on January 1, 2024. The acquisition also involves the subsidiaries Haering Polska sp.zo.o (Poland) and Haering sro (Czech Republic). However, the deal does not include the German factory, the Harlem brand and its product names. Operations related to the acquired products will be moved to multiple Mipa locations in the first quarter, while the company will also work with Haering's personnel to gradually take over customer support operations.
Haering GmbH is a medium-sized family company founded in 1886 and is currently managed by the fourth generation. In addition to the industrial coatings sector, it also specializes in the production and sale of architectural coatings and plasters.
