171 Percent Profit Surge Zhejiang Sanmei Projects Net Income up to 1.04 Billion Yuan in H1 2025
Zhejiang Sanmei Chemical has announced a stunning profit forecast for the first half of 2025, expecting net income attributable to shareholders to reach between 947.6 million and 1.04 billion yuan. This represents an explosive year-on-year growth of 146.97% to 171.67%, or an increase of 563.9 million to 658.7 million yuan compared to the same period last year.
The surge is primarily attributed to a sharp rise in the average price of fluorine refrigerant products during the period, coupled with improved profitability and favorable non-operating items. Industry changes played a major role: stricter production quotas on second-generation refrigerants (HCFCs) and ongoing quota management for third-generation products (HFCs) have reshaped the competitive landscape, while downstream demand kept prices on an upward trend.
Sanmei’s non-recurring gains, mainly from government subsidies, investment returns, and asset disposals, are expected to total 8.6 million yuan—slightly lower than last year. With market conditions and regulatory shifts aligning, Sanmei is set for a record-breaking year in profitability.
