JB Pharma Q1 Net Profit Surges 14 Percent to ₹202 Crore Revenue Hits ₹1094 Crore with 30 Percent EBITDA Margin

JB Pharmaceuticals posted a robust first quarter for FY26, reporting a 14% year-on-year jump in net profit to ₹202 crore while total revenue climbed 9% to ₹1,094 crore. The company’s operating EBITDA reached ₹330 crore with a record margin of 30.2%, reflecting significant gains in both acute and chronic therapy segments.

Domestic formulation sales led the growth, soaring 14% to ₹678 crore, while international revenue edged up by 2% to ₹416 crore. The CDMO (contract development and manufacturing organization) business recorded high single-digit growth, although overall international sales remained relatively flat.

CEO Nikhil Chopra attributed the strong quarter to JB Pharma’s focus on profitable growth and cost discipline, with an emphasis on expanding ophthalmology and specialty portfolios. “Crossing the 30% EBITDA margin milestone demonstrates our strategy is working,” he noted.

Looking ahead, the company plans to maintain its momentum by driving growth in its domestic and CDMO businesses and continuing to optimize costs.
