This Week's Aniline Market Consolidation (8.18-8.22) in China
August 22, News
I. Price Trends
According to the commodity market analysis system, the aniline market in China remained stable this week. The price of aniline was 7,550 CNY per ton on August 18 and remained at 7,550 CNY per ton on August 22, with no change during the week. Compared to the same period last year, the price has fallen by 27.09%.
II. Analysis and Commentary
This week, the Aniline market in Shandong maintained a stable operation. Aniline companies in China are facing significant inventory pressure, with downstream demand mainly driven by rigid needs and small-volume transactions. The raw material, pure benzene, is experiencing slight fluctuations, providing moderate cost support. However, the market lacks positive support, and the Aniline market continues to operate in a stable manner.
On the cost front: Pure benzene experienced slight fluctuations this week. As the end of the month approaches, downstream buyers are nearing the conclusion of their purchasing activities, putting increased selling pressure on intermediaries and pushing transaction prices lower. Overall, with rising import volumes, new production capacities coming online, and weak demand-side support, the pure benzene market lacks upward momentum amid a generally bearish fundamental outlook.
III. Future Market Outlook
Currently, the Aniline enterprises in China are experiencing poor inventory reduction, and the transaction focus has become somewhat unstable. It is expected that the Aniline market in China will operate weakly in the short term.
