This Week's Aniline Market Remains Stable at High Levels (2.9-2.13) in China
February 13 news
I. Price Trends
According to the commodity market analysis system, the aniline market in China remained firm at a high level this week. The price of aniline was 8,845 CNY/ton on February 9 and remained at 8,845 CNY/ton on February 13, with no change during the period. Compared to the same period last year, the price has fallen by 3.47%.
II. Analysis and Commentary
This week, the aniline market in China experienced a slight increase before stabilizing. Downstream stockpiling for the holiday is basically complete, and market transactions have gradually become quieter this week, with downstream operations starting to halt for the holiday. Aniline companies in China have low inventory levels, resulting in little sales pressure, and aniline prices remain stable at high levels.
Cost perspective: The price of pure benzene has decreased. Downstream companies have gradually finished restocking, and their enthusiasm for picking up goods is not high. There are still many incoming shipments to the main ports, and the inventory in the main ports of East China may remain at a high level. Downstream factories show strong resistance to high-priced raw materials, putting pressure on the price of pure benzene, leading to its decline.
III. Future Market Outlook
Under the current market fundamentals, it is expected that the price of aniline will remain stable before and after the Chinese New Year. Closely monitor changes in supply and demand in the Chinese market.
