The price of Bisphenol A fluctuates widely

Price trend of Bisphenol A in China
In September, the bisphenol A market broke and fell sharply. The policy regulation led to drop in the load of downstream epoxy resin factories in the main producing areas, the import of 57,000 tons of bisphenol A exceeded the expectation in August, and the slow pace of spot circulation led by domestic supplies depressed the market mentality to varying degrees, which was the main incentive for the next round of market correction.
The average price of BISphenol A this month was 25850 CNY/ton, down 1491 CNY/ton month-on-month, or 5.45%. The lowest price in the market this month was 21,500-22,000 CNY/ton, and the market just needed to stock up at the end of the month ended at about 22,150 CNY/ton, down 5850 CNY/ton compared with the price at the end of August, down 20.89%.
As demand contracted, supplies of BPA gradually eased
After the middle of September, the Chinese bisphenol A market fell sharply, and with the increase of the energy double control policy, the downstream consumption shrank, the market showed trend of magnifying decline and accelerating decline. As of September 27, the mainstream spot negotiation in East China tilted to below 22,000 CNY/ton. Compared with the beginning of the month, down more than 6000 CNY/ton, down more than 20%.
ECH load drops, prices soar, squeezing BPA space
In early September, energy policy regulation was heating up, and jiangsu province's "double red" warning was one of the key controls. As a cluster of epichlorohydrin head enterprises (three enterprises, with a capacity of 380,000 tons, accounting for about 30% of the national effective capacity), the decline of starting load had an obvious impact on the market.

China epichlorohydrin price trend
In mid-september epoxy chloropropane goods price raise prices have soared, jiangsu market from 16500 CNY/ton rose to 21000 CNY/ton, up 4500 CNY/ton, A rise of more than 6500 CNY/ton, in the early fundamentally downstream epoxy resin cost is not increased, short-term quick hedge bisphenol A callback assignment market space, It also has continued downward pressure on the relatively lucrative follow-up of BISphenol A.
From October to early November, three sets of bisphenol A plants in China are scheduled to be stopped for maintenance, involving A total capacity of 570,000 tons and A supply loss of about 45,000 tons. In September, due to the influence of energy regulation policies, power and production limits continued in all regions, especially the demand for downstream epoxy resin contracted significantly. In October, the direction of policy regulation was still unclear.
On the other hand, in October, two sets of plants of Tianjin and Pingmei With a total of 370,000 tons/year are planned to be put into operation, and the operation and output status of the plants remain to be paid attention to. Overhaul and reduction of supply, policy direction and new device production are the most influential factors in October, which will also directly affect the direction of future market price.
