2019 Annual Meeting of National Potato Staple Food Industry Alliance was held

From April 17 to 19, the 5th Annual Conference of the National Alliance of Potato Staple Food and Chemical Industries and the 11th China (Tengzhou) Potato Science, Technology and Culture Festival were held in Tengzhou, Shandong Province. During the event, the Standing Council of the National Potato Staple Food Industry Alliance and the Technical Cooperation Group on Potato Staple Food Development was held in 2019. After deliberation and approval by the General Assembly, Ulanchabu City, Inner Mongolia, was the host of the "2020 Annual Conference of the National Potato Staple Food Industry Alliance".

President of the Council of the National Alliance of Potato Staple Food Chemical Industries, Director of the Institute of Agricultural Products Processing, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Professor Dai Xiaofeng attended and presided over the annual meeting of the Standing Council. The conference heard and considered the main work and next work plan of the Alliance from 2018 to 2019, the preparations for the 2019 Annual Conference and the agenda of the Congress, the selection results of the Alliance Potato Poetry and Prose Competition and the list of new vice-chairmen and executive directors. It is known that the annual meeting of the National Alliance of Potato Staple Food and Chemical Industries is an annual routine meeting, co-sponsored by the China Association of Agricultural Products Markets, the Information Center of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Areas, the Institute of Agricultural Products Processing of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, the National Alliance of Potato Staple Food Industries and the Technical Cooperation Group for Potato Staple Food Development. Last year, Lanxian County, Shanxi Province, was the host of the conference. More than 600 people from scientific research institutes, enterprises, cultural circles, major central and local media and representatives from all walks of life of the whole country participated in this year's annual meeting.
