Weibo's Full-year 2021 Revenue of $2.26 Billion, up 34% Year-Over-Year
In the context of today's rapid development of Internet businesses, China's famous Internet powerhouse Weibo is also riding the wave of it.
Micro-blog (we say Weibo) refers to a broadcast social media, network platform based on user relationship information sharing, dissemination and access through a follow mechanism to share brief real-time information.
Micro-blog allows users to share and spread information instantly and interactively through Web, Wap, Mail, App, IM, SMS and various mobile terminals such as PC and cell phones.

In August 2009, Sina launched the beta version of "Sina Weibo", becoming the first portal site to provide microblogging services. Other microblogs include Tencent Weibo and Netease Weibo. However, if not specifically stated, Weibo refers to Sina Weibo.
In the evening of March 3, Weibo released its fourth quarter and full-year financial results for 2021. According to the results, Weibo reported total revenue of US$616 million for the fourth quarter of 2021, an increase of 20% year-over-year.
Of this, advertising revenue reached $550 million, up 21% year-over-year, with 94% of advertising coming from mobile.
For the full year 2021, Weibo's total revenue reached $2.26 billion, an increase of 34% year-over-year.
As of the end of the fourth quarter of 2021, Weibo had 573 million monthly active users, up 10% year-over-year, and 249 million daily active users, up 11% year-over-year, according to the results.
As of press time, Weibo's U.S. shares were up more than 3% in pre-market.
