National Bureau of Statistics: Steel prices fell in mid-July
Data released by the National Bureau of Statistics on July 24 show that in mid-July, steel market prices across the country generally fell. Among them, the price of threaded steel (16-25mm, HRB400) is 4032.9 CNY/ton, down 28.9 CNY/ton, or 0.7% from the previous period; the price of wire (6.5mm, HPB300) is 4209.7 CNY/ton, down 25.2 CNY/ton from the previous period, or 0.6% from the previous period; the price of ordinary medium plate (20mm, Q235) is 3993.1 CNY/ton, down 25.7 CNY/ton from the previous period, or 0.6% from the previous period. The price of hot rolled ordinary sheet (3mm, Q235) is 3970.6 CNY/ton, which is 27.4 CNY/ton lower than the previous period, or 0.7%.
