Dyne Marine Bio Submits A Marketing Application for Atomoxetine Hydrochloride Capsules
On April 26, Shandong Dayin Marine Biopharmaceutical submitted a 4-type generic listing application for atomoxetine hydrochloride capsules. As early as 2021, the company reported the production of oral solution dosage forms, which shows the company's emphasis on this variety.
Atomoxetine is used to treat attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) in children and adolescents aged 6 years and older. According to data from Minet.com, in 2020, the total sales of China's urban public hospitals, county-level public hospitals, urban community centers and township health centers, and China's urban physical pharmacy terminals will exceed 200 million yuan. The main market for this variety is in the terminals of public medical institutions in China, with a growth rate of over 73% in the first half of 2021.
At present, the varieties mainly include atomoxetine hydrochloride capsules and atomoxetine hydrochloride oral solution. Eli Lilly leads the market. Four domestic pharmaceutical companies have obtained approval for capsule dosage forms, while only one company for oral solution has obtained approval. Brands and original research pharmaceutical companies have a lot to do.
It is reported that Shandong Dayin Marine Biopharmaceutical focuses on the research and development and production of products in the field of children's health. At present, it has formed Yikexin (vitamin AD drops) as the leader, including Yi Dxin (vitamin D drops), Yijiaxin ( A portfolio of nutritional and therapeutic products for children represented by iron dextran granules) and Gaidixin (compound calcium carbonate effervescent granules). According to the data in the annual report, Shandong Dyne Marine Bio-Pharmaceuticals will have an operating income of more than 1.4 billion yuan in 2021 and a net profit of 660 million yuan.
