Economic indicators of state-owned and state-owned holding enterprises in China

Reporters learned from the Ministry of Finance that from January to July 2019, the main economic indicators of state-owned and state-owned holding enterprises (hereinafter referred to as state-owned enterprises) in the country continued to grow. Tax payable grew at a low speed, and the effect of tax reduction and fee reduction policy was remarkable. Main economic benefit index of state-owned enterprises total business income. From January to July, the total operating income of state-owned enterprises was 3447.00 billion yuan, an increase of 7.7% over the same period last year. Central enterprises accounted for 19,948.2 billion yuan, an increase of 6.2% over the same period last year, while local state-owned enterprises accounted for 14,521.8 billion yuan, an increase of 10.0% over the same period last year.

From January to July, the total operating cost of state-owned enterprises was 33252.65 billion yuan, an increase of 7.9% over the same period last year. Central enterprises accounted for 1895.65 billion yuan, an increase of 6.3% over the same period last year, while local state-owned enterprises accounted for 1430.1 billion yuan, an increase of 10.2% over the same period last year.

From January to July, the total profit of state-owned enterprises was 213.66 billion yuan, an increase of 7.3% over the same period last year. Central enterprises accounted for 1411.9 billion yuan, an increase of 7.7% over the same period last year; local state-owned enterprises accounted for 724.72 billion yuan, an increase of 6.6% over the same period last year. From January to July, the net profit of state-owned enterprises after tax was 16.02 billion yuan, an increase of 8.5% over the same period of last year. The net profit attributed to the owner of the parent company was 98.82 billion yuan. The net profit of central enterprises was 105.95 billion yuan, an increase of 9.7% over the previous year, belonging to the owner of the parent company, 67.44 billion yuan; the net profit of local state-owned enterprises was 540.74 billion yuan, an increase of 6.1% over the previous year, belonging to the owner of the parent company, 313.63 billion yuan.

From January to July, state-owned enterprises should pay 2664.56 billion yuan in taxes and fees, an increase of 0.5% over the same period last year. Central enterprises accounted for 1907.09 billion yuan, an increase of 0.8% over the same period last year, while local state-owned enterprises accounted for 757.47 billion yuan, a decrease of 0.1% over the same period last year.

Cost-cost profit margin. From January to July, the profit margin of cost and expense of state-owned enterprises was 6.5%, which was basically the same as that of the same period last year. Central enterprises grew by 0.1 percentage points and local state-owned enterprises by 5.1 percentage points, down by 0.2 percentage points.

At the end of July, the asset-liability ratio of state-owned enterprises was 64.4%, down by 0.2 percentage points. Central enterprises decreased by 67.5%, 0.3 percentage points; local state-owned enterprises by 62.1%, 0.1 percentage points.
