General Electric is optimistic about China's market prospects

President and chief executive officer of General Electric International, recently told Xinhua in a written interview that GE is optimistic about China's market prospects and will continue to invest in China and deepen the strategic core of China's economic growth.
It is said that China is the world's second largest economy, an active participant in economic globalization, and an integral part of the global supply chain. For any enterprise, China is a strategic market that can not be ignored. She said: "China is currently the largest single market for GE in addition to the United States, and it is also an important growth engine for GE's future development."
It pointed out that at present, Ge still maintains a good momentum of development in the field of business involving China, which reflects the positive effect of the endogenous power released by China's industrial restructuring and upgrading and the ever expanding opening up, which also provides opportunities for foreign enterprises including General Electric to deepen the Chinese market. "We always pay attention to the needs of China's economic and social development, and adjust the development strategy in China to better achieve business development in China."
She said, China's economic and social development is moving towards high quality development. Under the guidance of the new concept, China is undergoing drastic changes. Urbanization, clean energy, "Internet" + and "one belt and one road" initiative represent great opportunities for future development.
Tsun said that GE has deployed the three major development strategies of "localization, global partnership and full speed digitization", focusing on energy, aviation and medical fields, in order to better seize market opportunities, meet China's economic transformation and upgrading, and grow with China's economy and Chinese partners.
She thinks that "China Intelligent Manufacturing" is the trend of China's economic transformation, and the level of intelligent manufacturing and product development in various industries is increasing. GE's business in China covers vertical industries such as energy, aviation, medical, oil and gas, as well as finance, intelligent manufacturing, R & D and digitalization, which is closely related to China's current industrial upgrading. "We are constantly pushing forward the development and input in China's related fields, deepening cooperation with local partners to help China's industrial transformation and upgrading,"
The General Electric China intelligent manufacturing technology center is the first intelligent manufacturing technology center outside the United States to serve multi business departments. It is committed to bringing together the world's advanced manufacturing ecosystem resources and providing tailored one-stop intelligent factory solutions for Chinese manufacturing enterprises. In addition, Ge will continue to participate in this year's China International Import fair, and plans to use this platform to start some important products.
Currently, GE has nearly 20 thousand employees in China, with more than 30 manufacturing bases and more than 30 joint ventures in more than 40 cities, with 8 R & D teams in 8 cities. In 2018, GE's orders in China amounted to $8 billion.
