the profits of Industrial Enterprises above the national scale fell by 1.7%

According to the National Bureau of Statistics on September 27, in January-August, the total profits of Industrial Enterprises above the national scale reached 4016.35 billion yuan, down by 1.7% compared with the same period last year (in terms of comparable caliber, taking into account the caliber adjustment stipulated by the statistical system, the enhancement of statistical law enforcement, the elimination of duplicate data, the stripping of enterprise reform and the inventory of the four classical census units, etc.), the decline was the same as in January-July. In August, the total profits of Industrial Enterprises above the scale reached 517.79 billion yuan, down 2.0% from the same period last year, and increased by 2.6% in July.
From January to August, among industrial enterprises above the scale, the total profit of state-owned holding enterprises was 1214.150 billion yuan, down 8.6% from the same period last year; the total profit of joint-stock enterprises was 2958.11 billion yuan, which was the same as that of the same period last year; the total profit of foreign and Taiwan-invested enterprises was 978.96 billion yuan, down by 58%; the total profit of private enterprises was 113.03.4 billion yuan, up by 65%.
From January to August, the total profits of mining industry reached 380.74 billion yuan, an increase of 2.1% over the same period of last year; the total profits of manufacturing industry reached 330.45 billion yuan, a decrease of 3.2%; and the total profits of power, heat, gas and water production and supply industry reached 331.11 billion yuan, an increase of 11.0%.
In January-August, the total profit of 28 industries increased year on year and 13 industries decreased in 41 industries. The profits of major industries are as follows: the total profits of electrical machinery and equipment manufacturing industry increased 15.8%, the special equipment manufacturing industry increased 13.3%, the electric power, thermal production and supply industry increased 12.4%, the non-metallic mineral products industry increased 11.1%, the non-ferrous metal smelting and calendering industry increased 9.7%, the oil and gas mining industry increased 7.3%, the general equipment manufacturing industry increased 4.3%, the agricultural and sideline food industry increased 4.3%. Products processing industry grew by 2.5%, petroleum, coal and other fuel processing industry by 53.1%, ferrous metal smelting and calendering industry by 31.3%, automotive industry by 19.0%, chemical raw materials and chemicals industry by 13.1%, coal mining and washing industry by 4.3%, textile industry by 3.4%, computer, communications and other electronic equipment manufacturing industry by 2.7%.
In January-August, the operating income of Industrial Enterprises above the scale reached 68.39 trillion yuan, an increase of 4.7% over the same period of last year; the operating cost was 57.71 trillion yuan, an increase of 5.0%; and the operating income profit rate was 5.87%, a decrease of 0.38 percentage points over the same period of last year. At the end of August, the total assets of Industrial Enterprises above the scale increased by 5.8% compared with the same period of last year, and the total liabilities increased by 5.0% to 65.81 trillion yuan. The total owner's equity increased by 6.9% to 49.97 trillion yuan. The ratio of assets to liabilities decreased by 0.5 percentage points compared with the same period of last year. At the end of August, receivables of bills and accounts receivable of Industrial Enterprises above the scale increased by 4.0% compared with the same period last year, and inventories of finished products increased by 2.2% to 4289.81 billion yuan.
In January-August, the cost of operating income of Industrial Enterprises above scale was 84.39 yuan per 100 yuan, an increase of 0.25 yuan over the same period of last year, and the cost of operating income per 100 yuan was 8.62 yuan, an increase of 0.17 yuan over the same period of last year. At the end of August, the operating income of Industrial Enterprises above the scale of 100 yuan assets was 91.0 yuan, a decrease of 1.2 yuan compared with the same period last year; the per capita operating income was 1.364 million yuan, an increase of 112,000 yuan over the same period last year; the turnover days of finished products were 17.2 days, a decrease of 0.2 days over the same period last year; and the average recovery period of receivables and receivables was 54.5 days, an increase of 1.4 days over the same period last year.
